Nest

The nest was made using air dried clay, and twigs from the garden.Ahot glue gun was used to hold it all together, and moss covered the glue.Tiny glistening eggs were added , then it was ready to sit in it's tree!

Trees, twigs and leaves....

Wanting to bring the outside indoors, I looked at making garlands of leaves and flowers. I made some leaves from felt, dredged them in sparkle, and they were ready to use in my display.I gathered twigs; dogwood for colour and others sprayed white for contrast.An archway was constructed using hooks( and tape!)...Then I could add my butterflies and faeries! Not satisfied, I then decided to bring my beautifuly shaped apple tree indoors.It had begain to die off, and wishing to preserve it's beautiful shape, I dug it up! My lovely sister had given me some gold and silver leaves,so I attatched the gold ones to my 'new' tree.Placed in a bucket of stones in a corner of my living room and housing four birds, a handmade nest, a dragon fly , a butterfly and several bejewelled apples it is a source of great wonder, and enchanting to look at!

Winter garden

The snow had fallen so fast, and covered the ground in it's twinkly white blanket. Thoughts of warm fires, and chopping wood soon abled me to reflect on more magical surroundings.

Time for tea.....

The table is set with faerie treats, to delight any folk who are tiny and light enough to sit on the leafy twig furniture, glittery dishes of delicateness crowded with berries and foods only a faerie could eat....magical!

A house filled with faerie magic, and treats would be a dream for any faerie...... From it's little pantry shelves and tiny cradles, to the swing in the garden and faerie dust room. I had always wanted to make one, and begain scowering local woodland and parks for twigs to build it. It really wasn't difficult, as it almost built itself! Several floors high, and using the things nature left us, it soon begain to take shape....now others have been made, sold and given as gifts, to people who really believe.........
