Steampunk Ghost Hunter's Table
This is something I have been wanting to do for a while, but not had the right parts! My daughter very kindly gave me some odd 'bits and pieces' the other day, so I was able to start straight away!
The table was covered with a victorian newspaper, haunted photos and pieces that I thought a ghost hunter would need! There is an electro magnetic field detector, ghost hunter book, ghostbuster 'gun' and backpack detector.......Not to mention a lantern and a jotter and pencil. I loved putting this together!

Marie Antoinette
I did get a little carried away with this one! There are two tables of cakes, although my research of Marie Antoinette showed she was NOT a great lover of cakes, but preferred the 'sweet bread' of croissants , which were brought over from her country. A surprise to me as I thought croissants were French ..........Other doccumentation suggests it could have been Brioche, as this was also similar to the rich bread of the time........

Neptune's Supper
This piece has a polymer clay table, as I was running out of furniture! It has been made to resemble part of a shell, although the colour does not represent this.....I wanted the contents to show a contrast. The table is laid with lobster, a salmon and of course a cake.....Little pieces of coral and pearls decorate the top.......

A Faerie Wedding Feast
A present for my friend......This is all made with 'any shade of lilac' as that was the only request I had to go on! Three toadstool seats are placed around a large table laid with cakes and wedding feast fayre! Two tiny gold rings, a bible and necklace (for the bride's maid to wear) lay on the table, or beside it, and of course , a huge wedding cake........
A Goblin's Tea
Well here's a first for Faerie Wishes! A Goblin's Tea! This time I had to make the table from polymer clay, as I wanted it to be a certain shape, and am running out of furniture to customise!!
I thought that goblins would enjoy things like ' worm pie' 'snail cakes' and 'green grubs' ! Goodness knows what's in the soup! and of course 'mud and moss cake' with 'flies eggs' !!

Steampunk Faerie Time Travel Contraption
The chair was made from a collection of broken doll's house furniture! I added wire arms and a butterfly back.......Also some steampunk style wings, which were quite fiddley to do, but I am glad I finished them! The whole contraption is linked with pipes and glass tubes, Goodness knows how it all works, but there are maps of all kinds to help this time traveller!
Those Pesky goblins!
Those Pesky Goblins!
The top of the desk, showing the big book that the goblin's write down all the names in, of faeries and pixies that owe them money, or of those they have stolen from! There is a set of scales for weighing gold and jewelery and an ink well......As soon as I find one small enough, they shall have a quill to write with!
Those Pesky Goblins!
I wanted to make something that included Goblins and since they are known to steal, decided on transforming a small corner desk. At first I thought of a bank, as Goblins do like thier money! But realised after some research , that they will steal almost anything! On this desk , they have clearly taken gold, eggs, jewels and even shoes!

The minature faerie carriage
This photo shows the carriage near to completion. I have added a magic wand and a small bouquet of roses. Since this was published I have put in the steps (a white glittery ladder) and a few more bits. The carriage has tiny sequins inside and out, so that when the light shines on it it has a magical effect :) The 'driver's' seat is a little bit of toadstool(soft, for long journeys!) on a piece of bark.

Mad Hatter's Faerie tea story.......
My friends Matt Hawk and Laume Zekus are wonderful, creative artists who brought my tea to life, and I wanted to honour that by adding ideas of theirs to my piece. Because the tea party they created had toadstools in, I added those. Also as it was clearly 'mad hatter' style, (the tea cups being all miss matched!) I decided to add more bits......The pack of cards, red paint pot,' eat me' and 'drink me' signs......I really enjoyed making this piece!

Faerie wash stand......
After 'cooking' the heart shaped mirror, to which I added pearls, I added more moss and a few flowers. Then got to work on the drawer.....you can see it is not completely dry in this shot. I put little crushed shells and more bubbles in it......Added soap and a wash cloth , a few more pearls and it is ready for the faeries :)
Faerie wash stand......
First I glued on the shells that I had chosen for this piece, using wood glue AND a hot glue gun. I 'filled the shell basin up ' with 'soapy bubbles' and fixed on a beautiful glass fish for a tap. Then the moss was added, ready to place the mirror. The tricky bit was getting the 'water' to look as if it was coming from the tap!
Faerie potion chest
Faerie potion chest , showing the drawers which contain seasonal herbs, plants and everything a faerie needs to make their potions! I have included a Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter drawer. On the top of the chest is a pestle and mortar, chopping board (on which a mandrake plant is ready to be prepared!), toadstools of every kind, dragon eggs......Woops! One has broken! ......and not forgetting the essential faerie dust!
