I made a tiny spell book and left it open at the Poison Apple spell and the pedlar's spell! In the drawers are little pages from a herb book. The poisoned apple is beside the book.

I had such fun making these tiny poison bottles and spell ingredients! Of course I had to watch the Disney version again, since I needed to get the potions right! 

Re vamped Garden cabinet

I had made the original many years ago and it never sold. I pulled off the old plants and mushrooms, added new 'moss' and some Easter eggs and spring flowers and the cupboard sold the same day! 

Beauty and the beast

This proved a lot harder than I had imagined! Loads of ideas , but making Lumiere was quite tricky.....gluing all those jewellery findings, baking in parts.......Never again!
The castle was easy as I had already made this for cinderella and not included it in the final piece.

Had to include 'The grey stuff' here , though not as 'delicious' looking as the real thing!

Because I keep hens, and not actually very good at sculpting animals! I decided to have a go at making a white hen. This is similar to one I own. I had ordered a job lot of doll's house furniture from e bay and this little wooden cooker was in amongst the rest of the useful cabinets. I had thought of discarding it . Instead I left it on my work desk for a few days until an idea came to me! I removed the door(as I often do with my cupboards, since a few are made cheaply and fall off naturally anyway!) I thought the rings on the stove would be perfect to rest plant pots on, and just knew I had to put my hen in the bottom!

I wanted to do something a bit special with the cabinet I found in a charity shop. I toyed with the idea of a wizard's cupboard, but there are so many out there. I looked at the little cubby hole type shelves and it reminded me of the Natural History Museum I used to go to as a child.....all those creepy jars and masks!

Blogging again!

I am so excited to be blogging again! I am trying to find my way around and realise some of the links no longer work, so please be patient with me on this! So much has happened over the last few years. I have moved house and now have a successful Etsy shop where I am not only miniature making but making wands, spirit dolls and magic spells!

Easter Egg Cabinet........

I wanted to do something for Easter and had been quite busy trying to get these cabinets finished, along with a museum type cupboard, the Cinderella one and several ideas at once!

Been a long time..........

This miniature cabinet is made with a Cinderella theme and sold on my Etsy shop recently. I have just figured a way to post on this, my old blog! I hope that I can make a few changes to it now! 

Faerie Pools

I started to think about miniature faerie gardens, and what else I could put in them. I had a little go at making this little pool. I used some 'glow in the dark polymer clay, so that some of the stones will glow at night time . I decorated them with flower soft, little flowers and toadstools. One has a fish in it! I will be practising more creatures soon as they are really fiddly to do!

I thought it would be good to do something with 'glow in the dark ' clay, so decided on windows as they are fun to do and look very effective when put in place, against a pot or tree trunk! These are available on my Etsy now .
