Marie Antoinette

Teeny candies and opulent cakes crowd the two tables. I have a zillioon of these plastic swans! So found yet another good use for them!

Marie Antoinette

I did get a little carried away with this one! There are two tables of cakes, although my research of Marie Antoinette showed she was NOT a great lover of cakes, but preferred the 'sweet bread' of croissants , which were brought over from her country. A surprise to me as I thought croissants were French ..........Other doccumentation suggests it  could have been Brioche, as this was also similar to the rich bread of the time........
One of my favourite parts to this piece, is the tiny voodoo 'poppet' with pins in! I did try to make a dried goat's heart too........

I wanted to include most voodoo tools and masks without being too gruesome! ..........
